[21068] Benjamin is son of Samuel Yohn (b. 1 Dec 1788 in New Hanover, Montgomery Co., PA; d. 7 Feb 1874 in Madison Twp., Highland Co., OH; buried in Gustin Cemetery, Madison Twp., Highland Co., OH; son of John Jahn [b. ca.1750 in Limerick Twp., Montgomery Co., PA] and Bernhardina Pieters [b. ca.1751 in Montgomery Co., PA]) and Margaret Anderson (b. 15 Sep 1789 in Cumberland Co., PA; d. 27 June 1876 in Madison Twp., Highland Co., OH; buried with Samuel; m. ca. 1808; daughter of James Anderson [b. near Cork, Ireland] and Polly DeLancy). See biographical sketch Benjamin Yohn in "The Historical Record of Kosciusko Co., IN" (Lewis Publishing Co., 1887), pp. 216-218. Benjamin worked for Thomas G. Boydston in his mill in North Webster from 1847. In the spring of 1850 Thomas Boydston went to CA and rented the mills to Benjamin, who ran is until it burned in June, 1853. Thomas returned from CA in 1853 and rebuilt the mill in 1856.
