My g-g-g-g-grandmother, Catharine Kleiss Auxer married a Philip Auxer upon the death of her first husband, Michael Auxer, Jr.
What I have:
Michael Auxer, Jr. died in 1817 and in his will appointed Catharine, his widow, and Philip Albert, a "trusted" friend as executor of his estate. Catharine later petitioned the court to have Philip appointed guardian for her minor children. Later on, Michael's brother goes to court and says Catharine has since married Philip Albert and he wants an accounting of funds for the minor children. This is all in Mt. Joy.
Court records show Philip was declared incompetent in 1846. [His sister, Leah, was also declared incompetent.]
I then lose both Catharine and Philip. I follow several of the children, including my ancestor, Philip Kleis Auxer.
Recently, while going thru microfilms at Lancaster Historical Society, I came across a newspaper article, and was wondering if it were your Philip Albert, and if it could possibly be the Philip Albert I'm looking for. Your death date for Philip is exactly one month earlier than the newspaper article. I cannot find copies of the quarter session in 1865 to find out what happened or who was involved.
[Lancaster, PA] Intelligencer - April 7, 1870 - Thursday evening:
LOCAL INTELLIGENCE. Death of a Prisoner - A man named Philip Albert, about 65 or 70 years of ge, died in the County Prison on Tuesday night. The deceased was tried in 1865 for assault and battery and was acquitted on the plea of insanity, but was subsequently placed in the prison by direction of the Court for safe-keeping, where he has been kept in custody ever since. The deceased has relatives residing in the vicinity of Elizabethtown.

He married Christiana Steinmetz on May 4, 1810. They had six children in 15 years. He died on September 5, 1847, in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, at the age of 61, and was buried in Fredericksburg, Pennsylvania. When Christiana Steinmetz Light was born on December 12, 1786, in Dauphin, Pennsylvania, her father, Henry, was 26 and her mother, Magdalena, was 22 . . . . She died on September 22, 1863, in her hometown, having lived a long life of 76 years, and was buried in Fredericksburg, Pennsylvania."

The Poores came from near Salisbury in Wiltshire, England. They embarked from Southampton, England, with Stephen Dummer and his, wife, Alice (who may have been the Poore's aunt) aboard the ship Bevis; Robert Batten, Master, in 1638. The Poores landed in Boston, Suffold, MA, and went immediately to Newbury where brother, John (who came to America in 1635) settled. Daniel remained in Newbury until 1644, when he removed to Cochicawic, now known as Andover. (Since Andover was not founded until 1649, he would not have gone there as a settler until then. I doubt if he went to Andover until after he married in 1650. In the same ship came also Samuel Poore, and Alice Poore, who married George Little, of Newbury, Massachusetts. [54138] "Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 27 December 2014: "Bradford-Kenduskeag - Roberta (Strout) Bean, 87, passed away December 25, 2014 on her favorite holiday with her loving family by her side at the Veteran's home in Bangor after her battle with diabetes and congestive heart failure. She rejoined with her husband, Lester who predeceased her on August 7, 2014, having celebrated 67 years together. She was born Sept 13, 1927 in Bradford, the daughter of Freeman Leigh and Stella (Williams) Strout. Roberta grew up in Bradford, graduating from Bradford High School. She was a hard worker, raised eight children along with two of her grandsons, Terry and Kevin Bean for a few years. She was known for her seamstress work. Roberta could make anything as she did for all of her family over the years for Christmas or their birthdays, only giving it up in the last year. She also enjoyed her ceramics, and made something for everyone. Roberta could remember all of her family's birthdays, anniversaries, how long they were married, and cards went out to them. She was a people-person who would meet you, ask your name and want to know all about you. Roberta was treasuer of PTA in Bradford. She worked on potato harvesters for several years, and at the American Felt Slipper in Brewer, as well as worked with her husband on their poultry farm in Hampden and Winslow. Roberta attended Kennebec Valley Community College where she received her Certified Nursing Assistance Certificate. She worked at Lakewood Manor in Waterville and upon returning to Bangor area, worked at Community Health and Counseling in Bangor doing in-home services which she really enjoyed. Surviving children are Carlah & Wayne Bishop of Kenduskeag, Ruthena & Raylan Brasslett of Glenburn, Lester, Jr (Bud) of Bangor, Rodney & Deanna of Bangor, Robert & Dorothy of Newport, Myrna & Adolph Martin of Turner, Joanna Galkowski of Rockland and Verna & Peter Hussey of Winslow; 25 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; several step grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Geneva Allen of Bradford and Joyce Mailman of Corinth; sister-in-laws Iva Osgood of Campbellton, N.B., Ella Duran of Portland, Glennis Downing of Palmyra, Rita Beane of Corinth, and Elaine and Lillian Strout of Bradford; brother-in-laws, Herbert & Audrey Beane of Bangor and Winston & Priscilla Beane of Blacksburg, VA; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Carl, Robert and Warren Strout of Bradford and sister, Rebecca Miles of Hudson, and a grandson, Jeremy Bean. Interment will be held at Corinthian Cemetery, Exeter Road in Corinth."
