He succeeded in 1278 as Bolko I Duke of Jauer and Schweidnitz. The 'Annales Wratislavienses' record the death '1301 in Vigilia sancti Martini' of 'Bulcko dux Slezie'. The necrology of Raitenhaslach records the death 'V Id Nov' of 'Pulko dux Polonie'. - m (Berlin 4 Oct 1284) as her first husband, Beatrix von Brandenburg, daughter of Otto V Markgraf von Brandenburg & his wife Judith von Henneberg (1270-[10 Apr 1312/26 Apr 1316]). She married secondly ([20 Sep 1308/16 Jul 11]) Wladislaw Duke of Beuthen and Kosel [Piast]."

George owned at least 1200 acres, later the site of Londontown, Maryland, on
the south shore of the South River. {Ref. "Anne Arundel Gentry," H. W. Newman
(Balt., 1933, pp. 350, 424, 443) and "Founders of the Colonial Families of
Ridgely...," Henry R. Evans (Washington, DC, 1935).} George "...had been
brought to Maryland before 1658, by his father, George Westall, Sr. ...He
named his plantation `Scorton,' a parish in North Riding of Yorkshire, which
was undoubtedly his native parish." - Henry Wright Newman, "Anne Arundel
Gentry," Vol. III. "Anne Arundel Church Records of the 17th and 18th
Centuries: All Hallow's Parish" reports: George Westall (Housekeeper of
parish) bur. 17 March 1701 [1702 in `new'calendar] and lists the births and
some baptisms of his children, and the burial 08-26-1700 of his servant
Henery Right.
