[3561] Constantine VIII died in 1028 without a male heir. The Macedonian dynasty continued in a series of Emperors, Romanos III, Michael IV, Michael V and Constantine IX, all who married or were adopted by Constantine VIII's daughter, Zoë. Constantine VIII had three daughters - Theodora, Eudokia and Zoe (who m. 1st Romanos III Argyros, 2nd Michael IV Paphlagon and 3rd Constantine IX Monomachos).
