In 2016 http://www.basfordfamily.org/ThomasBasfordRegister reported: "Will dated 18 Jul 1854, proved 24 Mar 1857, indicates that his personal property should be sold and that the proceeds should divided between his three sons Abraham, Jacob and Isaac when they arrive at 21 years of age. The will indicates that 'in consideration for the monies paid' for his sons Thomas, John, Alfred and George Emory that they should not inherit any portion of my estate. John F. Simmons was appointed executor and guardian of his sons Abraham & Jacob. [83] An inventory was returned 30 Mar 1857, and a final account of the estate was presented on 24 Apr 1858." "
He first married Christina Catherine Droneburg, daughter of Jacob Droneburg & Mary Ann Madery, on 20 Sep 1820 in Frederick Co., MD. Born on 10 Aug 1802 in Frederick Co., MD. Christina Catherine was baptized in Frederick Co., MD, on 21 Jan 1803. Evangelical Lutheran Church. Christina Catherine died ? . aka: Catherine.
They had one child: Thomas (1821-1912). He second married Jane Wellinh on 4 Apr 1827 in Montgomery Co., MD. Born abt 1800-1810. [11] age 20 to 30 in 1830. Jane died bef 1850. died before 1850 census. Jane died when their son Isaac was an infant. They had the following children: Alfred (Died as Child) (1828-<1830);

[10394] Ira and brothr John operated the Mishler Brothers Implement Co. at Sabetha, KS from 1913. Ira's son, Roy, took over the company when he came home from serving in the U. S. Navy in 1919 and bought out his uncle John in 1948 - the firm became the Mishler Chevrolet Co. (121-123 Washington Ave., Sabetha). The Morrill Weekly News, 12 Dec 1918, p. 2: Ira Mishler died last Friday afternoon at his late home at Sabetha with pneumonia that developed following an attack of the flu. Mr. Mishler was a member of the firm of Mishler Bros., implement and auto dealers at Sabetha. Before going into business he was engaged in farming for a number of years in the Rock Creek neighborhood. Deceased was around 48 years of age. He first complained of not feeling well on Thanksgiving day but continued to get about till some three days before his death, when he took to his bed. Even then his condition was not regarded as critical. Beside his widow he is survived by two sons, Roy, who is in the navy, and Milton, who was recently mustered out of the army at Camp Funston; and two daughters; Mrs. Clark Shadel of Morrill and Miss Lola Mishler, who is attending a business college at Quincy, Illinois.
[55900] Find A Grave memorial 221430005 reports a different date and place of birth and offers: "Moses Pike, s. Abraham, "Slane by a Cannon Ball (Shot by the Ministeral Troops), on Plow'd Hill, Aug. 28, 1775, and Buried on the Southwesterly part thereof," a. 22 y. 6 m. 16 d."
