He was born in Charleston June 10, 1881, son of Llewellyn and Abbie (Bean) Strout. He had operated general stores in Charleston, Corinth, Hudson and Bradford at various times. Surviving are his daughter, Mrs. Vivian Ross of Bradford; a sister, Mrs. Myra Lawry of Charleston; two grandchildren; and two nieces. Funeral aervices will be held Tuesday at 2 o'clock at the Williams funeral home in Bradford with the Rev. Charles Mason of the United Baptist church of Bradford officiating. Interment will be in the family lot at the Corinthian cemetery."
