[50639] "The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine], 20 August 1969", p. 27: "Ripley - Hugh C. Hutchins, 66, died early Tuesday morning at a Dexter hospital. He was born in Dexter, May 17, 1903, the son of Harry and Edith (Larrabee) Hutchins. A life-long resident of the Dexter-Ripley area, he worked for many years as a farmer and has been employed in the Fay and Scott Machine Shop and in local mills. More recently, he was employed at a Hartland tannery, until his retirement about a year ago. Since that time, was assisting his son, Rodney, on the latter's Ripley farm. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dexter, Penobscot Masonic Lodge and was a past high priest of St. Johns Chapter, Royal Arch Masons and Dexter Grange. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Amber (Seavey) Hutchins; a son, Rodney, of Ripley; a daughter, Mrs. Herbert (Miriam) Brooks of Dexter; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and several cousins and one niece."

Thomas has land at Oyster River in 1645 and his estate was dated 7 Sept 1671. The unverified Leduc Family Tree in Ancestry.com in 2013 states Thomas m. in 1639 in Dover, NH Margaret Leathers Crawford (1615-1681) and that Thomas is son of Allan Willey (b. 1590 in Somerset Co., England, d. 1658 in Boston, MA) and spouse Alice _____(1593-1664).
