[43680] Find A Grave memorial 58810710 offers Lewis' obituary, including; "Lewis Elbridge Day was born in Maine, March 12, 1840. He received his early education and training at his home city and on arriving at his majority was married to Miss Mary Elsmore. Deceased came to California thirty years ago and located at Powellton, Butte county, and followed the pursuit of farming on a small scale. Later he was joined by his wife and children from Maine. Quite a number of years ago he located at West Branch, where he became proprietor of the hotel at that place. From his connection with this hostelry and his kindly nature he made many friends, who will regret to hear of his passing. As old age approached, Mr. Day disposed of his interests at West Branch and seven years ago located in Chico, where he since made his home. Deceased leaves a wife, three daughters - Mrs. J. Hicks of Seattle, Mrs. F.W. Lake of Oakland and Mrs. T.W. Harris of Chico - and a sister, Mrs. Sheldon Gray of Chico."

[2352] http://fmg.ac/Projects/MedLands/BRABANT, LOUVAIN.htm offers: The Genealogica comitum Buloniensium records that "Henricum seniorem de Bursella [=filius Ermengardis]" was father of "Lambertum comitem et Henricum fratrem eius et Mathildem sororem eorum", specifying that Mathilde married "comes Eustachius de Bolonia", but this appears to be a confused representation of the situation. The primary source which confirms that Mathilde was the daughter of Comte Lambert has not yet been identified but this is compatible with the chronology. Her birth date range estimated from the estimated date of her parents' marriage and the likely birth date of her eldest son in [1015/20]. This shows that it is chronologically impossible for Mathilde's father to have been the son of Ermengardis of Lower Lotharingia. m EUSTACHE Comte [de Boulogne], son of BAUDOUIN Comte [de Boulogne] & his wife Adelais of Holland (-[1049]).
