"The Ellsworth American [Ellsworth, Maine], 16 March 2018": "Bucksport - Following a brief illness, Eileen Hazel (Harriman) Coombs, 84, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2018, at a Bangor nursing home. Eileen was born on Feb. 4, 1934, to the parents Pearle (Owen) Stratton and Edward Lewis Harriman. Eileen lived and raised her family in Bucksport and Orland. She was a homemaker who loved crocheting, knitting and enjoying the time with the many birds, dogs and cats she had over the years.
She was predeceased by her parents and her husband of 19 years, Westley (Charlie) Owen Coombs Sr., and two children, Robin Edward Coombs and Gladyes Isabelle Coombs. Eileen is survived by her six children: Barb and husband Paul Ames, Melvin and wife Lynn, Jeannie and husband, Ken Schwabe, Westley Jr. and wife, Tina, Stanley and wife, Chris, Winslow and wife, Tammy, and one brother, Marvin Harriman and wife, Sonya. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren that she enjoyed spending time very much with in her later years."
