[40796] Cordelia's identification and parents are needed.
[5228] The LDS Church's unverified Ancestral File states that his father is Mynyan Coxon (AFN: RTZ2-WF), b. ca 1529. It is interesting that a famous 17th century English pirate named John Coxen left his name on "Coxen's Hole", the main town on the island of Roatan, Honduras. - no known relationship to John Coxon.

"The Times-Tribune [Scranton, Pennsylvania], 18 May 1988," p. 12: "Wedding vows were exchanged May 7 between Mary Helen 'Mimi' Tomaskevitch, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Tomaskevitch, 509 Susquehanna Ave., Olyphant, and Mark Phillips, 919 Madison Ave., son of Mrs. Jeannette Mattes, Greentown, and the late Richard Phillips. Monsignor Stephen Hrynuck performed the 2 p.m. nuptial ceremony in SS. Cyril and Methodius Greek Catholic Church, Olyphant. The altar was adorned with floral arrangements and white satin bows. The SS. Cyril and Methodius choir, under the direction of professor Nicholas Martynuk, provided the music for the service. Soprano Anne Mozeleski, aunt of the bride, was soloist. The bride wore an original lace and satin gown designed and made by her mother and hand-beaded by the bride. The gown featured a portrait neckline and fitted bodice lavishly embellished with lace appliques, irridescents and seed pearls. Satin roses accented each shoulder above full puffed sleeves which tapered at the wrists. The sleeves were adorned with large satin roses, irridescents and beads. The full satin skirt and lace overlay were sprinkled with crystals and bugle beads and extended to a chapel train edged with lace and crystals. Four satin roses at the back of the waistline released a detachable lace bustle accented with seven satin roses. Two satin roses similarly adorned the train. The bride designed and made her cleopatra-style headpiece. It featured face-framing, dangling jewels and satin rose accents at the crown. Pearl-tipped flower sprays at each side held a chapeh length veil and blusher of French illusion enhanced by a double pouff edged with lace and sprinkled with irridescents. She carried a crescent bouquet white orchids and gardenias accented with softly textured fuschia flowers. Lisa Beneski, Olyphant, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Patty Phillips, Davisville, R.I., and Kim Phillips, Phillipsburg, both sisters-in-law of the bridegroom; Diane Tomaskevitch, sister-in-law of the bride, and Lisa Mailotesi, both of Olyphant, and Marie Occhipinti, Scranton. Flower girl was Elizabeth Phillips, Davisville, R.I., niece of the bridegoom. The bridal attendants wore formal length gowns of gold lame and black satin designed with surplus necklines, short puffed sleeves, and princess fitted bodices. The elongated waistlines released softly flowing skirts which ended in irregular hemlines. Their headpieces, fashioned by the bride, were crowns of black satin accented with gold lame roses which released shoulder-length, puffed veils of black illusion. They carried crescent-shaped floral arrangements. Then mother of the bride wore a formal length fuschia gown. The bridegrooms mother chose a blue formal length gown with gold accents. John Hishta, Washington, D.C., served as best man. Ushers were Jeffrey Phillips, Davisville, R.I., and Frank Phillips, Phillipsburg, both brothers of the bridegroom, and Gary, Jack, and Jerry, Tomaskevitch, all brothers of the bride, Olyphant. The bridegrooms nephew, Richard Phillips, Davisville, R.I., served as ring bearer. A reception was conducted at Paupack Hills Golf and Country Club, Greentown. A 1983 graduate of Bishop O'Hara High School, the bride attended Wilkes College. She is pursuing a bachelors degree in advertising graphics/photography at Marywood College and is a freelance graphic artist/illustrator. The bridegroom was graduated from Wallenpaupack Area High School in 1980 and received a Bachelors degree in foreign service and international politics from Penn State University in 1984. He is employed by Aspen Square Management. Following a trip to Disneyworld and a cruise to the Bahamas, the couple make their home in Scranton."
