An unverified posting by Janice Farnsworth in 2007 on RootsWeb.com reports: "Subject: Samuel Parker & wife, Abigail Lakin of Groton. Source: 'Genealogica & Personal Memoirs Relating to Families of Boston' by Richard Cutter, p.1865 - Samuel Parker, the son of Captain James Parker, was born at Billerica about 1657. He married Abigail Lakin at Groton, Mass., dau. Sergeant John & Mary Lakin of Groton, Mass. Her father and his brother, Lieut. Thier parents were Johann Michael Paul (18 Oct 1795 - 22 Nov 1856) and Elizabeth Wolfgang (11 April 1800 - 18 Aug 1870). The grandparents were Martin Paul and Catherine _____. Johann was baptized somewhere in Lehigh county and buried at Salem Church in Schuylkill county.
