[47130] "The Daily Item [Sunbury, Pennsylvania]," 13 April 1951, p. 17: "Henry L. Albright, store manager and active churchman, died at 7:45 a. m. today at his home, 1146 Chestnut street, after an illness of more than a year. During the past year he had been at Geisinger Hospital for 73 days, and underwent a number of major operations. He was 42 years of age, Mr. Albright was manager of the Weis Pure Food Store at Reagan and Fourth streets for 24 years. He was one of the firm's most valuable employes. He had been active in Albright Evangelical United Brethren Church since a youth, was a teacher of the young men's Bible class until illness forced him to retire, and was steward on the administrative council of the church. He was a man of genial personality who had a host of friends who are shocked by his death. He was born in Sunbury, July 25, 1908, the son of Harry F. and Amy Romberger Albright. He was graduated from Sunbury High School in 1926 and immediately began employment with the Weis Pure Food Stores being placed as manager of the store at Fourth and Reagan streets where he remained until illness overtook him about a year ago. August 21, 1928 he married the former Clara Smith, who survives. Also surviving besides his wife and parents, are a son, Henry, Jr., a student at Susquehanna University; a daughter, Marjorie, at home; a sister, Mrs. Herman Johannsen of Elmont, L. I., two brothers, George Albright, Williston Park, L. I., and Joseph Albright, Berwick."
