[33743] This line is from the unverified Deckard Family tree in Ancestry.com in 2012. The Gazette and Daily [York, PA], 7 July 1953, p. 4: John C. Weibley, 101-year-old West York resident, died at 7:20 o'clock last night at his home, 1352 West Market street, four days before his 102nd birthday. Born on July 10, 1851, in Cumberland county and raised at Ickesburg, Perry County, he spent the past 32 years in West York with his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Foose. York County Medical society in February, 1952, awarded him' a plaque in recognition of his long life. He attributed his longevity in part to healthy work. Husband of the late Mrs. Harriet Bryner Weibley, who died in 1915, he spent most of his life as a farmer, but at the age of 75 he started shop work at Martin-Parry corporation where he was employed until his retirement 17 years ago. He suffered a fall late last month at his home and was ordered to bed by his physician. Death, however, was attributed to a heart condition. Survivors besides Mrs. Foose include two other daughters, Mrs. F. A. Fleisher, Holidaysburg, Pa., and Mrs. John Lyons, Blain, Pa.; sons, John E., William L. and Roy B. Weibley, all of Ickesburg; S. N. and Alison L. Weibley, of Altoona, and Lester C. Weibley, 2182 South Queen street . . .
