Victor loved flying his own airplanes for many years and enjoyed fishing.` He is survived by three children, Renay and her husband, Norman Gilley of Trenton, Barbara Brumbaugh and her companion, William Collins of Homestead, Fla., and Clarence and his wife, Sherrie Bridges of Orland; six grandchildren, Richard, Tracey, Ronia and her husband, Bill, Mathew and his wife, Victoria, Mary Jo and her husband, Joey, and Jacob; four great-grandchildrenl Alicial Jonathanl Joseph and Jarrett; two brothers, Clarence Bridges of North Kingstown, R.I. and Wayne Bridges of Bucksport. He will be greatly missed by his loving family, especially his son and daughter-in-law, Clarence and Sherrie."

It appears he [Michael I] married a daughter of Robert de Stuteville by his wife Erneburga, thus obtaining the Cumberland manor of Drigg." Ancestry.com offers: "Fleming Name Meaning - English: ethnic name for someone from Flanders. In the Middle Ages there was considerable commercial intercourse between England and the Netherlands, particularly in the wool trade, and many Flemish weavers and dyers settled in England. The word reflects a Norman French form of Old French flamenc, from the stem flam- + the Germanic suffix -ing. The surname is also common in south and east Scotland and in Ireland, where it is sometimes found in the Gaelicized form Pléimeann."
