[630] Roesia had previously m. William Perceval de Somery (dead before 20 June 1222) and was widowed at her father's death; she was only heir. She founded the abbey of Grace Dieu for Cistercian Monks at Beldon, Leicestershire. Beside Maud, she had John (her heir), the Rev'd Humphrey (rector of Alveton, d. 1285 at Paris), Nicholas (held the manor of Clumore, Ireland, died childless) and Theobald. See "Some corrections and additions to the Complete Peerage: Volume 12, Part 1: Somery" at http://www.medievalgenealogy.org.uk/cp/somery.shtml.
