[25914] An unverified Colcord Family Tee in Ancestry.com in 2017 offers: "When Lydia Strout was born in 1770 in Cape Elizabeth, Maine, her father, Jonathan, was 25, and her mother, Sarah, was 19. She married William Morton on November 29, 1787, in her hometown. They had nine children in 23 years. She died in May 1842 in Corinna, Maine, at the age of 72." Virginia Horler states Lydia is daughter of Jonathan Strout and Sarah Strout and remarks: "Lydia was living with son William Strout Morton at the time of his death in 1842. 'He was sitting up in a chair in the company of his aged mother, he asked her to pass him the Bible and died.' (Morning Star of May 25, 1842)."
