On 2 October 1417 he took the surrender of those in the castle of Courcy. He held the office of Captain of the castle and town of Verneuil on 31 October 1417. He fought in the siege of Rouen between July 1418 and January 1418/19. He held the office of Keeper of the Warren of St. John, Argences, in the bailiwick of Caen on 25 July 1419."
