This marriage and the children are unverified, and are listed as provided by a correspondent on internet, 10/95. They r. Salem, Wenham and Newbury, MA per Torrey's "New England Marriages Prior to 1700." Tradition says Richard is from Staffordshire, England; he was in Wenham, MA in 1648; the unverified Old World Tree entry in 2007 states he is son of Richard Pettingell, b. ca. 1596.
