She was predeceased by her husband, Paul Stover, son James Gray, parents Minnie and Russell Gray and sisters Lucretia Stephenson and Sireta Hatch. Shes survived by her brother Bill Gray and wife, Iris, of Fort Myers, Fla., and sister Wanita Springer of Albuquerque, N.M.; her son, Douglas Gray, and partner Wen Willey; son Andrew Gray, wife, Susie, and daughter Elizabeth; grandson Derek Gray and wife, Jessica; granddaughter Kaila Brodie and husband, Kevin; granddaughter Erika Gray and partner Ashley Grindle, granddaughter Chirstin Gray and partner Jimmy Lyons, as well as 10 great-grandchildren. Knitting was Marys lifelong passion. The many items she knitted included hundreds of hats, gloves, scarves, socks and more that were given to both strangers in need and loved ones alike. In addition, her years of being a CNA, and later volunteering at, Blue Hill Memorial Hospital gave her many friends, memories and a sense of purpose."
