According to one record she is Sarah Coles. She and her ancestry are from http://www.bcooper.aaahosting.net/dat71.html#15 in 2003 and are not verified. Also see http://members.gtw.net/~dollard/ancestors/pafn12.htm which offers: "The will of Hugh Parrell does not mention a daughter Sarah, but he did leave 300 acres to Sarah's husband, 'my loving kinsman John Bruce'. This could be interpreted to mean that Sarah was Hugh's daughter and her inheritance was directed to her husband, but it could also mean that the inheritance was directed to his sister or another relatives' husband. Hugh Parrell and Sarah's husband both died in Sep 1748. The birth dates of the children of John and Sarah Bruce and Hugh and Ann Parrell seems to indicate that all four were probably born around 1690 or earlier, so it would appear that they were from the same generation. John Bruce's will was written in Nov 1747, nearly a year before Hugh's will was written. It seems to me to be much more logical that Hugh knew John was about to die also and he was making sure his sister was taken care of." Rick Zeolla's tree at http://awt.ancestry.com in 2004 (not verified) states that Sarah was b. in Fodyce Parish, Banff, Scotland, and provides her siblings.

Find A Grave memorial 17041655 offers:
A blacksmith and gunsmith who came to Northampton in 1659. Served as town clerk, magistrate, selectman, deputy to the General Court and town treasurer.
Medad was born in Windsor, Hartford, Connecticut on August 19, 1638. He was the son of Eltweed and Mary Rockett Pomeroy. Medad learned to be a blacksmith and gunsmith so when he arrived at Northampton in 1659, he was welcomed by the authorities because of his skill and knowledge. He was granted a chest of tools and some land. He was made Freeman 31 May 1661, and settled at Northampton, Hampshire, Massachusetts. He was Selectman, first in 1675 and reelected 27 times; Deputy in 1677, and reelected six times through 1692; County Treasurer 1698 reelected a number of times until the year of his death. It appears that in some years he held not less than six important town offices at the same time. Medad's home-lot, granted by the town, was situated in the vicinity of Bridge St. Cemetery, but it is doubtful whether he ever occupied that lot. He bought an acre on Meeting-House Hill, where he resided until his death.
Medad married Experience Woodward in Northampton on November 21, 1661. They had at least nine children, all born in Northampton. Experience died fairly young, in 1686, at 43. She may have died in childbirth. Shortly after her death, Medad married Abigail Strong, the widow of a man named Chancy. They had one child, a son named Samuel. Abigail died in 1704, and Medad married Hannah Warriner. Medad died in Northampton on December 30, 1716. He is buried in the Bridge Street Cemetery in Northampton.
George Bodge "Soldiers in King Philip's War" p251. 253, and Hezikiah Sheldon's "History of Suffield" p 81. Medad Sr. served under Cpt Turner at the Falls Fight. He had a son Medad Jr (not listed in Find a Grave) who claimed the land granted his father for service. He also had a daughter Mary (1684-1773) who married Samuel Benton.

[14404] "The Whitcomb family in America . . . ," Charlotte Whitcomb (Minneapolis, MN, 1904), p. 87 reports he "entered the United States Revenue Cutter service in 1819 and served on the coast of Maine at Eastport and at Portland. He was also stationed at New York City and at Oswego on Lake Ontario. For many years he commanded the Revenue Cutter at Boston. He was in command of the United States Revenue Cutter 'Morris' when Anthony Burns, a fugitive slave, was conveyed on her from Boston harbor back to the South during tremendous excitement. Capt. Whitcomb was not proud of this achievement and doubtless would not have cared to have it recorded but he was acting under orders and it is to his credit that though the task was not of his choosing he performed it faithfully. Capt. Whitcomb was in the Revenue Cutter service over forty-two years, and was distinguished for his attention to his duties, which included the assistance of vessels in distress during the winter months. He was married in 1825 to Abigail Parker Clapp of Boston, daughter of Salmi and Abigail (Munroe) Clapp, and named for Abigail Parker, mother of Abigail Munroe. She was bom January 25, 1804. After her husband's death in Boston, December 25, 1861 she passed through the lines to her son in Richmond, Va."
