[15867] See "The Great Migration Begins: Immigrants to New England 1620-1633, Vol. 2," Robert Charles Anderson (Boston: New England Historic Genealogical Society, 1995), pp. 910-914. His identity is not certain - see "Penobscot Pioneers," Philip Howard Gray (Camden: Penobscot Press, 1993), pp. 93-100. He and wife Edith were among the 30 original members of the Salem Church and he became a freeman with the first group of settlers on 18 May 1631. His residence was on the Rial Side of Salem, now Beverly, MA, and he joined the new First Church of Beverly in 1667. He is probably son of goldsmith William Herrick who was unexpectedly knighted in 1605 for drilling a hole in King James' favorite diamond. See "The History of Salem, Massachusetts," Sidney Perley (Salem, MA), Vol. 1, p. 305 which lists his children with Edith, and states that she survived him.

[3893] In 2007 http://fmg.ac/Projects/MedLands/SWEDEN.htm offers: "Inge Stenkilsson (-[1111]). Snorre names Inge as son of Stenkel when recording that he succeeded Hakon as king. He lived in Russia before being recalled to Sweden to become king. He succeeded in 1080 as Inge I King of Sweden. King Inge was deposed in favour of his brother-in-law Blot Sven by those dissatisfied with Inge's Christianity. - m firstly Helena, daughter of _____. Presumably Helena originated in Russia where her husband lived before 1080. She is first referred to in Abbot William's genealogy of the Danish kings written in [1194]. - m secondly Maer, sister of Blot-Sven [later King of Sweden]. She is the wife attributed to King Inge in the Sagas, but as 'Maer' means 'the maiden' she may be identical with his first wife shown above." Cf. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inge_I_of_Sweden.
