She married William Nolin on June 3, 1802. . . . She died on June 6, 1847, at the age of 63." Ancestry.com suggests the meaning of the surname: "Altered spelling of Dutch Kerkendal, a topographic name for someone who lived by a church in a valley. It is found chiefly in OH." The 26 Oct 1816 estate file of Henry Kirkendall (spelled Kuyhendal) of Ross Co., OH lists Elizabeth Nolin as his daughter.
