[18083] Benjamin apparently arrived in MA aboard the Abigail in 1635 with Thomas Tupper, and was then age 15. Thomas worked for his passage as a shoemaker and carpenter on the ship, and Benjamin may have been an apprentice. He followed Thomas to Sandwich where he lived a long and active life. Benjamin and Katherine had Mary, John, Ebenezer, Jonathan, Mercy, Caleb, Nathan and Benjamin. See David Nye, editor, compiled by George Hyatt Nye and Frank E. Best, "A Genealogy of the Nye Family" (1907).
