The ceremony was performed at Starke Oct. 1, Judge Perryman officiating. The only attendants were Tom Walker, Winter Haven, and Bob Porter, Gainesville. The bride has made her home In Lake Wales for the last few years, being employed In the local Western union office until transferred to Gainesville a few weeks ago. She completed her high school education in Haines City and attended the Florida State College for Women at Tallahassee. Mr. Sweger is a senior in the college of Arts and Sciences at the University of Florida. He is editor of the college newspaper and is a correspondent sports writer for several newspapers. He also is a member of the Kappa Alpha fraternity, president of the Sigma Delta Chia, professional honorary journalism fraternity and secretary of the Blue Key society. Mr. and Mrs. Sweger will be at home to friends in Gainesville where Mr. Sweger will complete his college work."
