He owned and operated the Carver Shellfish Co. at Beals and at the time of his death was president of Carver Industries of Beals. He was a member of Jonesport Masonic Lodge 188, Anah Temple Shrine, Bangor, and of the Rogers-Worcester Post, American Legion, Jonesport. He attended the Beals Wesleyan Church." He was born May 10, 1939, in Greenville, to Milton and Edna (McEachern) Dunbar. He was predeceased by his first wife, Virginia (Ryder) Dunbar in 1977; and his second wife, Betty (Morgan) Dunbar in 2022. Terry graduated from Greenville High School and worked for Canadian Pacific Railway in Greenville, and later moved to Millinocket, to work for Great Northern Paper for more than 30 years. In his retirement he made canoes for his grandsons, doll furniture for his granddaughters and doll houses for his great-grandchildren. Terry is survived by his three children, Terri Brewster of Hampden, Holly (Scott) Humphrey of Veazie, and Byron (Dawn) Dunbar of Hermon; five grandchildren, Megan Cornwell, Gretchen Keezer, Matthew Humphrey, Rachel Ring and Chris Dunbar; and seven great-grandchildren, Bella, Emmy and Hadley Cornwell, Jude, Lucy and Lennon Keezer and Owen Humprey. Also, two special nieces, Maria Avery and Torri Stone. He was predeceased by his sister, Marilyn King; her husband, Weldon King Sr; nephew, Weldon King Jr.; and son-in-law, Gary Brewster."

Before June 7, 1248, at same location alluded to above, he got married aged 36 years, with Lorette/Laurette/Lora de Dover, born in 1222, daughter of Richard Fitz Roy also known as Richard de Warenne and Richard de Chilham and Rohese/Rhoysia/Rose de Dover. They had at least one child: John de Marmion. He was under age in 1243 and in the custody of William de Cauntelo. On 30 Apr 1251 he quit claimed to the Prioress of Fosse the advowson of the church of Willingham in county Lincoln. He was knighted, apparently at the occasion of the knighting of Prince Edward. He was in the service of the King in 1259 in France. He took the side of the Barons against Henry III, and, as a supporter of Simon de Montfort, was summoned to Parliament 24 Dec 1264. He was among the "disinherited" who were admitted to the Kings peace July 1, 1267, and pardoned for their trespasses. He opened business in Searsport in 1916 and retired in 1947, but he maintained his certification until the time of his death. He served with the U.S. Army in 1918 as a pharmacist. He was a past master and a 50 year member of Mariners Lodge of Masons of Searsport. He was past high priest and 50-year member of Royal Arch Chapter in Searsport. He is survived by his wife, Bernice (McCaslin) Vaughan; one brother, Austin of Farmington; his step-mother, Edith Vaughan of Belfast; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the First Congregational Church, the Rev. Richard Blake officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery."
