Funeral services were held on Tuesday for Mrs. Sarah Hollenbaugh who died last Wednesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Peterson, at Lewistown, with burial In the Stony Point Cemetery, three miles north of Blaln, the Rev. L. E. Teter of Elliottsburg officiating. Mrs. Hollenbaugh was a daughter of the late John and Mary Kochenderfer Yohn and was born in Perry County, at Pine Grove. Her husband, David Hollenbaugh died fourteen years ago. She is survived by six children, namely: Mrs. George Peterson, of Lewistown; Mrs. Jacob Meyers, of Newport; Charles Hollenbaugh, of Buck's Valley; Martin Hollenbaugh, of Camden, N. J.; John Hollenbaugh, of Lewistown and Mrs. William Rodgers of Oklahoma and by one sister, Mrs. James Yohn, of Spruce Hill; Juniata County and one brother, James Yohn, of Carlisle."
Sarah is daughter of John Yohn and Mary Kochenderfer. As a widow she r. with her daughter at Lenola, NJ. The 1870 federal census at Spruce Hill, Juniata Co., PA shows her age 18 in the household of John Yohn (age 68) and wife Mary (62) with Janes (20) and Elizabeth (16).
