[nee Kenniston] Conner). His will is dated 27 Oct 1882. He m. (2) 5 Sept 1873 at Penobscot, ME Mrs. Purlina (Polina ?) Perkins of Bradley. He went to sea when Castine was a flourishing center of Grand Banks fishing, importing salt from Cadiz and Liverpool and distributing it to other towns. 500 vessels fitted out in Castine in 1850 ("Coastal Maine: A Maritime History," Roger F.
