[4396] "Falaise Roll" (Baltimore: Gen. Pub. Co, 1994), p. 25: Rotrou "gave his daughters in marriage to men of the rank of count. Margaret married Henry, earl of Warwick, and Johain [sic] was given to Gilbert de l'Aigle, while Matilda married first Raymond I, vicomte de Turenne and second, Gui de las Tours in Limousin, from whom sprang a noble race. Rotrou assumed the habit of a Cluniac monk and died in 1100 [sic] and was buried in the church of the monastery of St. Dionysius the Areopagite, founded by his grandfather Geoffroi I, in 1030, and which he richly endowed."
