Starling attached this note 6 Jan 2011 to the Starling tree in Ancestry.com: "Richard Dell (1672-1724) is believed to have immigrated to America in about 1690 and was, perhaps, an indentured servant at the time. He married Elizabeth DeCou in 1695 and then Elizabeth Bassnett in 1698. Richard Dell and Elizabeth Bassnett (1679-?) had at least one child Henry in 1699 in NJ. The Burlington Court Book records a case with Richard Dell as plaintiff and Elizabeth Bassnett as defendant on behalf of William Frampton's children (Elizabeth, Thomas, Sarah) who were also the children of her step-mother Elizabeth Potter who married second Elizabeth Bassnett's father (Richard Bassnett, 1650 England - 1694 Burlington, NJ) after William Frampton's death. The result of the court case was 100 pounds to each of William Frampton's children (presumably from Elizabeth Bassnett's husband on behalf of her father Richard Bassnett who was deceased in 1694).
"Son Henry Dell (1699-1755) married Jean Lyon (1700-1754) and they raised 5 children in NJ.
"Granddaughter Anna Eva Maria (?) Dell (1737-1803, daughter of Henry Dell (1699-1755), is believed to be the "Ms Dell" that married Johann Henrich Buchner (1734-1817) and they raised 10 children in NJ.

[12633] Obituary at Stanwood, WA funeral home: "Byron was born March 17, 1916 in Tripoli, Iowa one of seven children; he went to be with his heavenly Father April 2, 2013. Though his family grieves, we know he is with his Creator. Byron served his Country during World War II in the Air Force as a pilot. He was shot down and captured by the Japanese and was a prisoner of war for two and a half years. He was honorably discharged as a Major. He is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Julie; children: Susan Christianson, Nadine Heichel, Lynda (Michael) Peck and Byron Jr. (Rita) Heichel; 5 grandchildren: Chad, Chip, Sarah, Brett and Rachel. A military graveside service will be held Saturday, April 6, 2013, 11:00 am at the Arlington Cemetery."

[50930] The Ellsworth American [Ellsworth, Maine], 6 February 2013": "Falmouth - Eleanor Margaret Johnston Goduti, 91, died on Feb. 1, 2013. She was born Oct. 15, 1921, in Bar Harbor, the daughter of Lawrence and Clara (Cunningham) Johnston. Eleanor, 'Lynn,' grew up in Bar Harbor, and graduated from Bar Harbor High School, Class of 1939. She then went on to receive her associate degree from Westbrook College in 1941. In 1951, she married Richard Julius Goduti and remained happily married until his death in 1987. Aside from raising their children, they spent much time traveling to Europe, the Caribbean, and Vero Beach, Fla. They were members of the Portland Country Club, the Portland Yacht Club, and season pass holders of the Portland Symphony Orchestra with many of their friends. Lynn was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker. In 1980, she started an at-home interior design business named The Orange Tree. This expanded to a shop in Falmouth named Country Living, which she and a partner operated until 1985. Living in Falmouth, Eleanor attended St. Mary the Virgin Church and was a member of their garden club. She also donated her time and expertise to Greater Portland Landmarks, the Portland Museum of Art and the Tate House. Lynn enjoyed gardening, cooking and painting. She especially enjoyed her time in the Rangeley Lakes region, dining out and fly fishing. Later in life, when she could not pursue many of these activities, she remained active with her friends and an integral component of her family until her death last Friday. Lynns quick wit, classy approach to life, and family monitoring (forever a mother) will always be remembered. Her loving devotion to her family will be greatly missed. In addition to her parents, Eleanor was predeceased by her beloved husband, Richard. She is survived by her three sons, John Goduti and partner, Bill Alfonzo, of New York, N.Y.; Richard Goduti and wife, Shannon, of Falmouth and their children, Ian, Lex, Matt and Neil; and James Goduti and wife, Beth, of Cape Elizabeth and their sons, Nicholas and William; her brother, Lawrence Charles Johnston and wife, Carolyn, of Ellsworth; close cousins, Frances Dean of Mill Valley, Calif., and Barbara Williams of East Boothbay Harbor; and seven nieces and nephews."
