[17474] Albert was an ordained minister. He "restored" the "e" to the surname through his interest in genealogy. He was an Episcopal priest and served in Chicago (1900-05), Wilmette (1905-07) and in Momence, Morrison, Dixon and Grand Detour. He was a Democrat and belonged to the Elks lodge. He was active in the Boy Scouts of America, and received the Silver Beaver award. After his wife died, he married his housekeeper, Minnie Davies.
