[48003] "The Selinsgrove Times-Tribune [Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania], 5 September 1968," p. 5: "Mrs Carrie H. Rabuck, widow of Charles D. Rabuck, and Snyder County native, died August 27 in the Geisinger Medical Center. In failing health for six months, her death was attributed to a complication of ailments. She was 87 years old. Born November 1, 1880, she was the daughter of Lawrence T. and Mary McAdam App. In 1903, she was married to Mr. Rabuck, who preceded her in death in June of 1965. Mrs. Rabuck was a member of the Eden Lutheran Church in Plum Creek. She attended that church for 75 years. Survivors include eight children, Mrs. Alice Smith and Mrs. Hazel Weise, of Sunbury; Lawrence Rabuck, of Baltimore; Mrs. Mary Snyder, of Dalmatia; John Rabuck, of Texas; Mrs. Olive Bailey, of Danville; Charles Rabuck, of Florida; and Samuel Rabuck, of Illinois; 14 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren one great great grandchild; and two brothers, Charles W. App, North Orange Street, Selinsgrove; and Robert E. App, of Akron, Ohio. A daughter, Edna, preceded her in death and a son, Warren, was killed in France 1944."
