A driver for Acorn Press in Neffsville, he previously worked eight years in the shipping and receiving department at the former Steckel Printing. He was a member of Highland Presbyterian Church. A 1961 Solanco graduate, Bleecher was actively involved in the Manheim Township Baseball Association. He volunteered for Habitat for Humanity and enjoyed traveling, bowling and writing poetry. Born in Smithville, he was the son of the late Harry and Elizabeth Longer Bleecher."

[1546] Baldwin united the countships of Hainaut and Flanders (since his wife's brother Count Philip had no children), but there was opposition to this from the French king who forced Baldwin to cede Artois, St. Omer, Lens, Hesdin and much of southern Flanders to France and to permit Count Philip's widow to keep certain towns "in right of her dowry." {-Encycl.Brit., 1956, 9:357} Baldwin V was Count of Flanders 1191-1195. http://fmg.ac/Projects/MedLands/NAMUR.htm offers: "He succeeded his father in 1171 as Baudouin V Comte de Hainaut, and as heir to Henri Comte de Namur et de Luxembourg (see above). After the unexpected birth in 1186 of Ermesinde, daughter of Henri Comte de Namur et de Luxembourg, the latter revoked his assurance concerning Baudouin's succession in these two counties. In 1188, Comte Henri was obliged to reinstate Baudouin as his heir after a verdict in the latter's favour from Heinrich VI King of Germany. Comte Baudouin attacked Namur, captured Comte Henri and obtained a confirmation of his position from Emperor Friedrich I who also secretly created him Marquis de Namur. Under a compromise reached in 1190, Baudouin received Namur immediately, and the expectation of Laroche and Durbuy after the death of Henri; the fate of Luxembourg was not mentioned. The creation of the Marquisate of Namur, and the elevation of Baudouin as Marquis de Namur, was announced at Worms in 1190. Scott, 80, peacefully passed away Friday May 24, 2019, at Westgate Center, with her loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren by her side. She was born the daughter of Alton M. and Belvah (Leach) Gross on April 6, 1939. She was a hardworking, successful businesswoman and chose her career in banking. She was the manager of Seaboard Federal Credit Union for several years and went on to work for Penobscot Federal Credit Union, from which she retired. Anna loved to cook, enjoyed gardening, and loved to go sailing with her late husband, Dean. Nana Anna is survived by two grandchildren, whom took care of her during the last months of her life. Granddaughter Jessica Gray, husband Nathaniel, and their children Tyson and Kaylee. Grandson Todd Jason Gifford, wife Cassandra and their children Ayzlynn, Daxton and Ryker. Nana Anna is also survived by her son Mark Gifford, his children Nye and Whitney, daughter Louanne Littlefield and her son William Bebb. Three siblings Belle Bridges, Beatrice Roy and Gerry Gross, a very special niece Kim Gifford as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Her faithful canine companion and friend Buffy Anne also survives her. In addition to her parents, Anna was predeceased by the love of her life Gherald Dean Scott, her son Todd Gifford and siblings Lois, Milton and Cuddy Gross. The family would like to extend a very special thanks to the staff of Westgate Center for their kind, compassionate, and loving care of Anna during her short stay there."

Archbishop Egbert donated property 'de beneficio Luthardi comitis . . . mortuo sine herede' to St Paul at Trier by charter dated 981, subscribed by 'Regeneri rerum S Marie advocatis', although it is not known whether this is the same Reginar. The Chronicle of Alberic de Trois-Fontaines records that 'comes Raginerus' captured 'Montem castri' from 'comiti Godefrido' in 998. This event probably represents the start of the independent territorial existence of the county of Hainaut, based around Mons, from which time Reginar [IV] can properly be described as Comte en Hainaut, Comte de Mons. The Chronicle of Alberic de Trois-Fontaines records the death in 1013 of 'in Haynico . . . comite Raginero Montense'." m ([996]) Hedwige [Avoie] de France, daughter of Hugues Capet King of France & his wife Adelais d'Aquitaine ([969] -after 1013). The Genealogiæ Scriptoris Fusniacensis names 'Robertum regem et filiam Hadevidem . . . comitissam Hainonensium' as the children of King Hugues. The Chronicle of Alberic de Trois-Fontaines also names 'soror regis Roberti Hadwidis' as wife of 'Rainero comiti de Hainaco, fratri Lamberti comitis de Lovanio'. 'Comes Raginerus et Hathuidis coniux' are named in the Gesta of Gembloux Abbey. Her brother gave her the towns of Couvin, Fraisne, Nîme, Eve and Bens [all now in Belgium] as her dowry on her marriage. 'Heinricus . . .Romanorum imperator augustus' took into his protection the abbey of Florennes founded by 'Gerardus . . . in primis meus capellanus postea . . . Cameracensis episcopus effectus et fratres sui Godefridus et Arnulphus' by charter dated 1018, which refers to earlier donations of property by 'comitissa Hawidis, annuentibus filiis suis comite Raginero et Lamberto'. 'Chuonradus . . . Romanorum imperator augustus' confirmed the foundation of Florennes abbey by charter dated 1033, which records among others the donation of 'comitissa Hadegundis, annuentibus comite Raginero et Lamberto filiis suis . . . in Prona sita in pago Haynomensi'. The identity of 'comitissa Hawidis/Hadegundis', and therefore the existence of Lambert supposed brother of Reginar [V] Comte de Hainaut, is not certain. Hedwige, wife of Reginar [IV] Comte de Hainaut, is the most obvious candidate. If this is correct, the donation must have been made after her husband's death in 1013 as he is not named in the document. The other possibility is that she was the mother of Reginar [IV] Comte de Hainaut and his brother Lambert [I] Comte de Louvain. However, the name of the wife of their father, Reginar [III] Graf im Maasgau, is recorded elsewhere as Adela."

[30556] The 1930 federal census in Lee, Penobscot Co., ME lists Roderick, b. in Canada of parents b. in Scotland, and reports Roderick emigrated to the United States in 1883. http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~peistewart/Colin_Murchison.html states Roderick was born on Prince Edward Island, Canada, and offers his ancestry and family. "The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 16 November 1950, p. 7: "Lee, Nov. 15 - Roderick Murchison, 88, oldest resident of Lee, died today at the home of his son, Levi Murchison, after a brief illness. He was born June 29, 1862 at Prince Edward Island, Canada, son of Donald and Catherine McLeod Murchison. He was a charter member of the local Knights of Pythias lodge. Surviving are four sons, Levi of Lee, David, Donald and Gerrlsh Murchison, all of Lincoln; a sister, Mrs. Alonoz Smith, Rhode Island; 27 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren."
