[41270] Find A Grave Memorial 137342110 offers: "Robert Lawter was probably born in Suffolk, England about 1550. He married Mary Fiske soon after she proved her fatherÂ’s will in South Elmham, Suffolk, in 1579. Robert and Mary had four children and probably lived in Suffolk County, England. Sometime around 1600 to 1610, Robert was killed by his son, Joseph, who was executed at Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk, England. Evidence points to the location of the home of Robert and Mary as South Elmham. If so, he was buried in the churchyard of St. JamesÂ’ Church in that town.'
