Their marriage is recorded at New Hanover Lutheran Church, New Hanover Twp., Montgomery Co., PA. He probably emigrated from Germany to Philadelphia on the Ship Alexander and Ann, arriving 5 Sept 1730. He appears on the ship's lists as Adam Fillipott, Adam Hillipott and Adam Hilpott - - see "Pennsylvania German Pioneers...," Ralph Beaver Srassburger (Camden, ME: Picton Press, 1992), I:34-36. This was once suggested as the Helbert ancestry, but is questionable.
