[14205] An unverified file in Ancestry.com in 2015 offers: "When George R Carmitchell was born in March 1879 in Mahanoy City, Pennsylvania, his father, Charles, was 20 and his mother, Rebecca, was 22. He had four sons and three daughters with Jennie Mary Hubler. He died on April 9, 1942, at the age of 63." "Mount Carmel Item, 24 July 1914," p. 1: "George R. Carmitchell, inside foreman of the Tunnel Ridge colliery, a Reading company operation near Mahanoy City, had the distinction of receiving by mail a certificate or diploma from a mining college guaranteeing his proficiency in every branch of study embraced in the mining courses of the said university. Mr. Carmitchell's course covered a period of 14 years' study during his spare moments since he attained the age of 21 years." Find A Grave memorial 94759319 assigns John Carmitchell (1869-1926) as husband to Jennie Hubler and lists these children: Raymond Carmitchell (1896-1897), Fred Carmitchell (1900-1903) & Quenton Carmitchell (1906-1906).

He moved to Stratford around 1663. Find A Grave memorial 20834836 states "Deborah Peacock married James Clark on February 12, 1664 in New Haven, Colony of New Haven. She was the daughter of John & Joyce Peacock and was born in Milford on February 1, 1643/44."
