Fran was married to Dennis Carr of Northeast Harbor and then later married David Bowden. Fran owned Flicks in Northeast Harbor and then went on to work in other places including Sonogee Estates, the Quarter Deck Restaurant, Epis, and Paradis Hardware. Fran was a devoted animal lover and enjoyed feeding and watching birds as well as rescuing stray and feral cats. Fran is survived by her son Jonathan Carr and wife Susan; grandson Benjamin Carr, all of Auburn. She was predeceased by her parents and a brother Donnie Spratt."
