Hanover, Mass., in March 20, 1709; the son of John Bailey and Abigail Clapp, and the grandson of John Bailey and Sarah White, and great-grandson of Thomas Bailey, who was at Boston, MIass., 1643, and who probably settled at Weymouth,Mass., with his wife, Ruth. The above Sarah White who m. John Bailey, was the daughter of Peregrine White, who was born on the Mayflower, 1620, and d. July 20, 1704; and grandson of William White, who came to Plymouth, Mass., on the Mayflower."
