He was born at Haynesville December 31, 1858, the son of Charles H. and Betsy (Bean) Irish. He resided at Haynesville for 50 years before moving to Danforth. Mr. Irish was for more than 60 years a member of the Haynesville Baptist Church. Besides his son, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Maud C. White of Danforth; 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter."
