[28663] Mark Honey (loc. cit) remarks: "A number of [their] daughters were baptized at York, indicating a rather significant pattern of travel between the Bagaduce and York. These baptisms are recorded at the York First Parish Church. Despite the lack of religious instruction, and the absence of a settled church and minister, the early settlers would maintain a solid social contact with their former communities, and would continue onward with the religious rights [sic - rites?] that they had known when living in these communities."
