[9755] "The Sentinel (Carlisle, PA], 6 May 1905," p. 3: "Mrs. Elizabeth Daron, an aged and highly respected lady, residing near the Fairview school house, was found hanging in the attic of her house about 11 :30 yesterday. She had been in as good health as usual and no cause can be assigned for the deed. The first intimation the family had of anything of the kind was when they found her lifeless body. She had stood upon a peck measure, fastened a rope to a rafter and about her neck and then stepped off the measure. Justice McCord, of New Kingston, was summoned and held an inquest He impaneled as jurors R. L. Darr, Dr. L. Fulk, J. A. Keller, Geo. Gill, G. W. Herman and Daniel Hoy. Their verdict was suicide. Mrs. Daron lived in that vicinity for many years, was well known and high ly esteemed, her husband died some years ago. She lived quietly with one son B. E. Daron, and a hired girl. W. W. Daron, of Carlisle, is also a son."

[49941] "Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine], 14 February 2022": "Ellsworth - After a courageous battle with brain cancer, Daniel R. Champlin, 61, died peacefully and comfortably on Feb. 12, 2022, at home, with his loving wife, Tatyana, and his sister, Martha, by his side. Daniel was born on March 13, 1960, in Sanford, to Ralph and Marjorie (Staples) Champlin. After graduating high school, George Stevens Academy in Blue Hill, Dan married his first wife, Catherine Pond Champlin, who gave him two beautiful daughters, Michelle and Mary. He married Tatyana on Feb. 14, 2011. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Dan. He enjoyed a cup of coffee in the morning, watching football and spending time outdoors. Running was his hobby. He motivated many people in his family including sister, Martha; nephew, Matt; and stepdaughter, Dasha. His favorite race to run was the TD Beach to Beacon 10K in Cape Elizabeth. Dan had a successful career in retail. He worked as a store manager in Greater Boston, Mass., for many years before returning to Maine in 2009, where he continued his career as a store manager at Burlington in Bangor. He was always valued for his hard work, fairness, kindness and care. The family would like to thank the Oncology Team of Northern Light Cancer Care, doctors, nurses and staff for their advice, support and all-around best care. Much gratitude to Northern Light Home Care & Hospice for support, comfort and compassionate care. Dan is survived by his wife, Tatyana Duffy; daughter, Michelle Champlin, of Oakland, Calif.; daughter, Mary Champlin, of Bangor; stepdaughter, Dasha Polyakova, and her fiancé, Shaun Duran, of Portland; sister, Martha Parent, and her husband, Daniel, of Alfred; sister-in-law, Fortune Champlin, of North Fort Myers, Fla.; aunt, Margaret Staples, of Brooklin; and many other relatives. Dan was predeceased by his first wife, Catherine Pond Champlin, who died in August of 1994, and his brother, Steven Champlin, who died in December of 2001. Dans warm heart and physical presence will be missed forever."

[3786] Voiry was Count Palatine of Aix-la-Chapelle. W.H.Turton,"The Plantagenet Ancestry" (Balt.:Gen.Pub.Co.,1968), p.172, gives him as father of Siegfried I, Count of Luxemburg, whom Turton substitutes for ID1531 as father of Siegfried II, Count of Luxemburg. Voiry's wife is Cunigunde; one of their daughters apparently is wife of Everhard of Niederlahngau.
