Find A Grave Memorial 65660752 offers from his grave marker: "Memorial/Cenotaph for Christian Bomberger, and reads: In Memory of CHRISTIAN BOMBERGER A God-Fearing and industrious man, who with his wife, Maria, two sons, John and Christian, and six daughters, left the Tenantry of Baron Von Der Fels, in Eschelbronn, Baden, May 12th, 1722, was granted a certificate of Honorable Dismissal by the Chief Magistrate at Waibstatt, and settled on this tract, among the Indians, he died in 1742, his body rest in the family God's Acre on yonder hill. Erected by his descendents 1923. NOTE; Yonder Hill is to the right (North) as you are looking at the memorial. Cemetery is about 400 feet from memorial. Christian, Maria and family arrived in the Port of Philadelphia, PA., six weeks later. They were the first family to settle in what is now Warwick Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. They received a deed (564 acres) from Heirs of William Penn in 1733. Christian's Will is dated 30 June 1741, he died in 1742 and will was proved 25 March 1742. Christian and Maria are presumed to be buried in the Bomberger Cemetery in graves no longer marked."

Frank Echenagucia is listed as an electrician residing at 45 Batavia in the 1922 Boston, MA city directory. The Chelsea, MA city directory for 1912 lists Mrs. Beulah Echenagucia as a packer, boarding at 97 Library. [51230] Evelyn's obituary: "Harrington - Evelyn M. Willey, 71, of Harrington died Saturday, Dec. 31, 2005, at Narraguagus Bay Health Care Facility in Milbridge. She was born March 2, 1934, in Ellsworth, the daughter of the late Elliot and Louise (Cole) Stratton. Evelyn was educated in Sullivan graduating from high school there in 1952, as the class salutatorian. Once married, she became a military wife for 20 years, traveling the world along with raising her family. She had resided in Pease Air Force Base, Portsmouth, N.H., Ramey Air Force Base, Puerto Rico, Loring Air Force Base, Presque Isle, Selfridge Air Force Base, Detroit, Mich., Kadena Air Force Base, Okinawa, Japan and Hill Air Force Base, Utah, where she and her husband spent 24 years. While in Utah, Evelyn worked as a certified nurse's assistant and for more than 17 years was an advertising agent for K-mart in Utah. Most recently, she moved to Harrington with her husband in 1996, where she became active with the Osceola Grange No. 570 of Harrington and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary American Legion Post No. 8 of Cherryfield. In addition to her husband of 46 years, Alonzo C. Willey Sr., family members include daughter, Inez Day of Cherryfield; two sons, Alonzo C. Willey Jr. and his wife, Debbie and Wayne Willey and his wife, Dawnelle, both of Ogden, Utah; one stepson, Glen Willey Sr. of Auburn; and one stepdaughter, Ronda Rhodes and her husband, Richard, of Faxon, Okla.; seven grandchildren, Jordyn, Ryan, Glen Jr., Richard Jr., Brooke and Kendra; and nine great-grandchildren; and one sister, Eleanor Daley and her husband, Raymond, of Sullivan; and two special friends, Betty Look of Cherryfield and Carol Ann Ferlin of Morgan, Utah. "

The family of Alexander Wignall is speculative. His sketch in The Great Migration Begins contains no reference to other family members. The Great Migration Begins includes more than one thousand, one hundred sketches, each dedicated to a single immigrant or an immigrant family, arriving in New England between 1620 and 1633. Each sketch contains information on the immigrant's migration dates and patterns, on various biographical matters (including occupation, church membership, education, offices, and land holding), and on genealogical details (birth, death, marriages, children, and other associations by blood or marriage), along with detailed comments and discussion, and bibliographic information on the family.

From Great Migration Begins:
1. Alexander came to Watertown, Massachusetts about 1628.
2. On October 19, 1630 Alexander asked for and on May 18, 1631 took the oath of Freeman of Massachusetts. In both lists his name has the prefix of "Mr." showing respect. He was a either a scholar or property owner with his name next above Captain William Jennison who may have been associated with Alexander.
3. "The Great Migration Begins" doubts Alexander was the father of Elizab eth and considers him to be the same "Jno. Wignall a 1630 list of Charlest own inhabitants as included in the following:
"Jno. Wignall" is included in 1630 Charlestown list of inhabitan ts as one of four who "went & built in the main on the northeast side of the northwest creek of this town" [ ChTR 5]. In ne xt list, also for 1630, is Walter Pope, who "bought Jno. Wignall's house & land" [ ChTR 6]. 3 May 1631: "Alex: Wignall" on jury for Dexter vs. Endicott [ MBCR 1: 86]. 18 May 1631: "Mr. Alex: Wignall" admitted as a freeman [ MBCR 1:366 ]. 16 August 1631: "Mr. Alex: Wignall" fined five marks for drunkenness [ MBCR 1:91]. 6 Sept. 1631: "Mr. Alex: Wignall is fined 40sh., bound to his good be havior, & enjoined to remove his dwelling to some settled plantation before the last of May next, for drunkenness & much misdeameanor by him committed at the plantation where he now dwelleth" [ MBCR 1:91]. 2 July 1633: "Mr. Woolridge & Mr. Gibbons are appointed to join wi th Mr. Graves & Mr. Geneson to inventory the goods & chattels of Alex: Wignall" [ MBCR 1:106].
COMMENT: In the Charlestown records are two references to John Wignal l, and in the Colony records are five entries for Alexander Wignall, and nowhere else do we see this surname at this ea rly date. John Wignall is said to have "built on the main" with three others, WALTER NORTON, EDWARD GIBBONS and WILLIAM JENNINGS [i.e, JENNISON]. Alexander Wignall is seen in the Colony records interacting with this same group, especial ly at the time of the inventory of his estate. Note that the inventory record does not describe him as deceased as it does with ot hers, so he may simply have abandoned his land and goods, realizing that the Puritan commonwealth was not for him. We conclude that all these records refer to one man, and that the Christian name given in the Colony records is to be preferred over that in the town records.
In 1935 Raymon Meyers Tingley published an undocumented account of Al exander Wignall, giving him two children - a son John (based on the records discussed above) and a daughter Elizabeth who m arried Richard Ingraham [ Tingley-Meyers 441]. Nothing is known about the wife of Richard Ingraham, and this whole construct ion apparently derived from Tingley's imagination.

2. Elizabeth Wignal - Elizabeth's husband Richard Ingraham was born about 1600 in Barrowby, England. His parents were Arthur Ingraham (1576 - 1655) and Jane Mallory (1580 - ). After Elizabeth died, he married Joan Rockwell in 1668. Richard died in August 1683 in Northampton, Massachusetts.

[13028] George Peter Zerbe was baptised 22 Jan 1702 at Ketttenbach, Germany. Peter m. Anna Christina Laux (or Loucks). A Peter Zerbe is on the Lindemuth List of Palatines who moved to the Tulpehocken Valley in Pennsylvania, assembled from land records and published in "The Pennsylvania German" (Lebanon, PA, 1904), V:191. Is he the John Peter Zerbe who was a charter member of Christ Lutheran Church, Stouchsburg, PA in May, 1743?
