[51677] "The Ellsworth American [Ellsworth, Maine], 16 January 2017": "Prospect Harbor - Orice Lee (Bunker) Stinson passed away peacefully at home on Monday, Jan. 9, 2017. She was born on Oct. 28, 1936, in West Gouldsboro, a daughter of the late Gordon F. Bunker and the late Caroline R. (Havey) Bunker of Gouldsboro. Orice graduated from Sumner Memorial High School as the class valedictorian in 1955. She was married to her beloved husband, Charles Stinson, for 61 years. Orice enjoyed traveling and was an avid reader, but what she loved more than anything was spending time with her family. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who love her. Orice is survived by her husband, Charles Stinson, of Prospect Harbor; daughters Cynthia Webber and husband, Dwayne, of Blue Hill, and Katharyn S. Wayman and husband, Craig, of Prospect Harbor; brother Wesley Bunker and partner, Judy, of Deer Isle; sister Ilene Stinson and husband, Calvin, of Prospect Harbor; grandchildren Matthew and Michelle Webber of Blue Hill, Craig Wayman of Manhattan, N.Y., and Lynsee Wayman of Prospect Harbor. She was predeceased by both of her parents and her sister Shelia Bunker."

She was born June 24, 1915 in Mifflintown to the late Harry and Margaret (Kauffman) Zeiders. She was a homemaker; a graduate of New Bloomfield High School; and a member of Perry Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was the widow of Donald Briner. Surviving are two daughters, Donna Feinstein of Lebanon and Sandi Bazza of Billrica, Mass.; granddaughters, Shelli Barondick of Mt. Gretna, Jennifer Feinstein of Myerstown and Jill Dideriksen of Lebanon; and three great-grandchildren, Kally, Jared and Dakota Feinstein. She was preceded in death by a brother, Martin Zeiders, and two sisters, Irene Briner and Marian Hostetter." Ancestry.com states Zeiders is really the surname Seider which means: "South German . . . occupational name for a silk merchant, from an agent derivative of German Seide 'silk', Middle High German side. South German: habitational name for someone from Seyde in Saxony or Seiderau in Bavaria."
