[53543] "Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 14 May 2021: "Hampden - Sally Ann Huntley passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on May 13, 2021. She was born on August 18, 1935, in Bangor, Maine. Sally was the only daughter of Phillip Godfrey and Mary (Connor) Godfrey. Sally and her husband, Ira, started Huntley Oil Company in Hampden, where she was the office manager until she retired. Ira and Sally loved sailing and shared many fond memories with her family on their sailboat in Northeast Harbor. Sally's favorite hobbies were painting pictures and making dolls for her granddaughters. Her grandchildren were very special to her and she cherished her time with all of them. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Ira B. Huntley Jr.; her brothers, Sunny Godfrey, Phil Godfrey, Dick Godfrey, Jim Godfrey and Bob Godfrey; and her grandson, James Cousins. Sally is survived by Ira Huntley of Hampden, her loving husband of nearly seventy years; her son, Stephen Huntley and wife, Elaine; her daughter, Suzette Cousins and husband, Bill; and grandchildren, Justin Huntley and wife, Jacqueline, Jason Huntley, Megan Cousins, Will Cousins, Shelly Cousins, Rob Cousins, Kathy Cousins and Alysa Cousins."
