She was the widow of Herbert W. Tapley. She was born March 27, 1894 at Brooksville, the daughter of Lewis and Maud (Blake) Farnham. She was a member of the Brooklin Baptist Church. She is survived by one son, Louis Tapley of Southwest Harbor; three daughters, Mrs. Lena Robertson of Blue Hill, Mrs. Frances Freethy of Brooklin, Mrs. Wilma Rodiguez of Williamstown, NJ; 33 grand-children, 30 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Lucy Thomas of West Brooksville, Mrs. Burton Conley of Hampden, Mrs. Olson Jordon of Brewer; two brothers, Brainard F. Farnham of Harborside, Samuel Farnham of Vermont; several nieces and nephews."
