[8769] The Perry County Democrat, 4 Dec 1918, p. 3: Samuel Baughman, of near Loysville, died at his home on Saturday night, about 12 o'clock from influenza after an illness of two weeks. His wife was also ill at the same time and was confined to bed. He was aged 32 years, 2 months and 9 days. Mr. Baughman was the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Baughman, of Saville township. He was a farmer by occupation and was successful in his line of work being industrious and thrifty. His untimely death is mourned by a host of neighbors and friends, On October 7, 1005, he married Miss Anna Fuller, who with six children survive him. His parents and four sisters and four brothers also survive.
