'Hank' Hollenbaugh, 87, died Sunday, Aug. 17, 2003, in Heritage Care Center. Born August 20, 1915, in Shelby to Burr and Effie Sipes Hollenbaugh, he had been a lifelong Shelby resident. A 1934 graduate of Shelby High School, he was employed as an electric weld machine operator with Copperweld for 43 years, retiring in 1975. Mr. Hollenbaugh was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 763 where he was past worthy president and was a former member of Shelby Owl's Club, Shelby Country Club and St Mark's Episcopal Church. A little league baseball umpire for many years, he enjoyed bowling, golfing, fishing on his favorite lake in Michigan, and gardening. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, H. Ritchey and Becki Hollenbaugh of Dublin; daughter and son-in-law, Catherine and Charles Kelly of Norwalk; four grandchildren; four greatgrandchildren; nieces, nephews and other relatives. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jane Ritchey Hollenbaugh in 1979; one brother, Irven 'Beez' Hollenbaugh; and three sisters, Betty Hollenbaugh, Mary Jane Blatter and Martha Coler. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday from Barkdull Funeral Home in Shelby. The Reverend David S. Sipes will officiate with interment in Oakland Cemetery."

Lucy Stilson was born on June 24, 1806, the daughter of Lazarus. She married William McArthur Shepard on November 10, 1833, in Newtown, Connecticut. They had five children during their marriage. She died on February 9, 1871, in Sheffield, Ohio, at the age of 64."
