Interment will be in Gratz Union Cemetery. Reed Funeral Home, Pillow, is in charge. Mr. Hepler was a son of Mrs. Beulah Hepler and the late George Hepler. He was born in Gratz Sept. 22, 1902. He was a member of Simeon's United Lutheran Church. Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his widow, the former Lottie Schminky; four sons and two daughters, Warren of Fort Lauderdale. Fla.; Ernest of Fort Pierce, Fla.; Mrs. Jay Harner, Temple; Mrs. Paul Nichol, Palmyra. N. Y.; George of Millersburg and John of Sterling Park Va.; 15 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a sister Mrs. Ernest Burrel of Gratz and two brothers, Harry and Benjamin, of Gratz."

[54714] "The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 15 September 2023: "Orono - Donna Ritchie, 76, peacefully passed away September 10, 2023, with her family by her side. She was born August 31, 1947, in Bangor, the beloved daughter of Donald and Marion (Curtis) Moore. Donna was a proud graduate of Hampden Academy, Class of 1966. In her most recent years, she worked as a cashier at Shaw's Supermarket, where she greeted customers with a warm smile and kind words. She developed close friends at work, and her caring nature touched the hearts of many. She had a huge heart and loved everybody. She adored her role as a grandmother and leaves behind two cherished granddaughters, Audrey and Claire, who brought immense joy to her life. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the caregivers who provided care and support to Donna over the years. In addition to her parents, Donna was predeceased by her four siblings, Paul, Wayne, Wesley, and Jeannette Moore. She is survived by her loving sons, Donald Ritchie and his wife, Jilanta, of Englewood, Florida, Keith Ritchie and his wife, Janis, of San Diego, California; and her former husband, Almon Ritchie."
