[38913] Find A Grave Memorial 107992564 offers: "He was raised up in Cambridge, but lured by opportunities out west on the Connecticut River, he moved to Middletown, Middlesex, Connecticut in 1674. He married Hannah Harris 8 February 1675. His new father-in-law gave the couple two parcels of land in Middletown as a wedding gift and later deeded them about 700 acres at a place called Moromock, abutting the Connecticut River. Francis later built a stone bridge over what was called the nearby Ferry River, a tributary to the Connecticut. It was a source of income to his family as a toll bridge. Francis was commissioned a Lieutenant in the town militia in 1699. He died the following year. His children's ages at the time of his death were: Francis, age 25 years; Hannah 23, Elizabeth 21, Abigail 19, Martha 17, Joseph 14, William 12, Edith 10, Isabell 6, and John, 3 years of age."
