[9275] "The Perry County Times [New Bloomfield, PA], 21 April 1932," p. 8: "Mrs. Gladys Mae Peck, aged 28 years 7 months, beloved wife of Marlin E. Peck, of Liverpool, died in the Polyclinic Hospital, Harrisburg, Sunday at 6:45 p. m., following an operation which she underwent the Tuesday afternoon previous. Although not in the best of health for quite awhile, she was yet able to go about and do her own housework as usual and her sudden death is a terrible shock to her family and many friends. She was a twin daughter of Wm. and Oro Wormley Boycr and was born in Loysville, where she lived until moving to Liverpool four years ago. She united with the Loysville Lutheran church under Rev. A. R. Longanecker's pastorate, faithful in attendance at Sunday school church and C. E. After removing to Liverpool she had her membership transferred to the Lutheran church there and was also a faithful member of the Sunday School. She was a christian wife, mother, daughter and sister who was most devoted to her family and in her death they have truly lost one whose entire aim in life was to serve her family and church faithfully and well. She was married to Marlin E. Peck, of Saville, eight years ago at the home of her parents in Loysville, by her pastor, Rev. J. Grover C. Knipple. To this union were born three children, twin sons, Kenneth and Sidney, 7, and a daughter Adele, 4, who with her husband survive. Also surviving are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Boyer, of Loysville and a twin sister, Anna, Mrs. Ralph Meyer, of Liverpool. To all of these the most sincere sympathy is extended in their deep sorrow."
