[41161] "The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 26 December 1973, p. 31: "Great Pond - Elmore Fenlon Richardson, 79, died Dec. 24 at a local hospital. He was born at Aurora, Oct. 3, 1894, son of Walter G. and Lizzie Giles Richardson. He resided in Bangor for many years where he operated a filling station on Park Street. Later he worked as a mechanic for Bean and Conquest. He retired and moved to Great Pond in July, 1949. He was a veteran of World War I and was past commander of the Daniel E. Geagan Post, American Legion of Brewer. He was past master of Goodwill Grange, Amherst; past master of Green Mountain Pomona; a member of Lygonia Lodge of Masons, Acadia Chapter, and the Blanquefort Commandery, Ellsworth. He was a member of Anah Temple, Order of the Mystic Shrine, Bangor; member of the Ellsworth Masonic Club, the Hancock County Shrine Club, and past worthy patron of Irene Chapter O.E.S. of Ellsworth. Surviving are his wife, Inez Williams Richardson, Great Pond; a brother. Merle Richardson, Hermon; a half brother, Allard Richardson, Bangor; four half sisters, several nieces and nephews." Elmore's grave marker contains this inscription: "Company F, 73rd Infantry, Plymouth 12th Division". He is son of Walter G. Richardson (1861-1938) and Elizabeth E. Giles (1859-1911, m. 28 September 1884 in Aurora, Hancock Co., ME).
